About Christina

Christina was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) when she was 13 years old and it has been the catalyst for her career and health advocacy work!

She is currently a professional dancer, an accredited personal trainer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit, Type Zero Foundation, and a motivational speaker.

In 2019, she became the first female with T1D to compete on NBC’s hit show, American Ninja Warrior, as a way to bring more awareness to diabetes and the mission of her nonprofit - creating a safe space for everyday support. Christina has been honored to spend 3 years so far on stages around the country as a speaker for corporate teams, health care professionals, and people in the diabetes community.

From corporate events to healthcare team meetings, all the way to one-to-one personal training, and more, Christina is most passionate about empowering people to accomplish more than they think they can and improving access to healthcare resources for people with diabetes.
